Shield
The shield is blue, conforming to the color of one of the Tallmadges Dragoons flags. The charge and the motto are also taken from the same flag. The Tallmadge Dragoons was a well known organization of Connecticut, commanded by Major Tallmadge during the Revolutionary War period.
